Speko

Speko builds infrastructure for multilingual voice AI, addressing the fact that speech and language models are usually benchmarked only in English despite no single model performing best across languages. Its core products are Router, a hosted, provider-neutral data plane offering speech-to-text, LLM, and text-to-speech with intelligent per-language model routing, and Gateway, an open-source customer-side runtime (supporting LiveKit and Pipecat) enabling direct provider streaming with optional Speko-managed routing. It also runs a benchmarking platform evaluating 59 models across 10 languages on cost-per-performance. It targets developers building multilingual voice agents and conversational systems, and is SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliant.
